With ample passenger room, user-friendly electronics interface, hush and smooth ride, impressive feature and technology, a classy interior design, the new 2017 Infiniti QX60 is an ideal choice for a family-oriented, seven-passenger luxury crossover SUV. Its release date should be expected in the latter half of 2017.
The three-row 2017 Infiniti QX60 luxury crossover is certainly a family-centered vehicle just by looking what it offers. There is plenty of room for both growing children and adults in all the three rows, and the passenger comfort is taken a notch higher with the reclining and sliding feature available for the second-row seats.
Additionally, we’ve found the interior to be exceedingly comfortable with lots of infotainment and convenient features, and soft-touch materials with the latter also doubling up as a sound-reducing feature, therefore making the ride quality serene as much as possible. Throw in a competitive price tag and you’ve got yourself a vehicle that offers value for the money.
There are several flaws we have noted, nonetheless. They include the mediocre fuel economy estimates, so-so handling and steering, and a sluggish ride quality. The CVT, additionally, produces an uninspiring and noisy acceleration. And even with Infiniti boasting solid fuel consumption ratings for the base engine, the same is difficult to achieve in real-world tests.
Hopefully, there are tons of other excellent three-row crossovers in the segment for those who find the faults inexcusable. They include the 2017 BMW X5 and the 2017 Acura MDX. Both offer an engaging character, excellent exterior and interior, powerful engines, and a pretty sporty attitude.
Others include the 2017 Audi Q7 and the 2017 Buick Enclave. That said, we still think the 2017 Infiniti QX60 is an appealing choice for those looking for a comfy, family-oriented crossover.
Offered Trims – 2017 Infiniti QX60
The new seven-passenger 2017 Infiniti QX60 is offered in two versions: a conventional gasoline engine or a gas-electric hybrid system. They are further offered in a single, well-appointed trim level.

2017 Infiniti QX60 Engine Specs
Under the hood of the new 2017 Infiniti QX60 is a 3.5L V6 engine mated to a CVT transmission system. The power generated – 265 hp and 248 lbs. ft. of torque is then taken up by the system to either the FWD or the optional AWD.
A time of 8 seconds is required to get past 60 mph with the AWD version.
As for the EPA fuel estimates, buyers should expect the front wheel drive version to return 21/27/23 mpg in the city/highway/combined, and 19/26/22 mpg for the AWD version.
