The 2017 Audi A4 will be celebrating its North American debut in Detroit next week.
Set to go on sale this spring, the redesigned model follows in the footsteps of the European variant and will come equipped with xenon plus headlights, LED daytime running lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Moving into the cabin, drivers will find a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, eight-way power front seats, and LED ambient lighting. Other highlights include a tri-zone automatic climate control system, a power sunroof, split-folding rear seats, and an infotainment system with a 7-inch (17.8 centimetre) display.
A variety of different options will be available including a colour heads-up display, a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and an Audi virtual cockpit with a 12.3-inch (31.2 centimetre) display.
All models will come equipped with a standard Audi drive select system with four different modes including auto, comfort, dynamic, and individual. Buyers looking for a sportier driving experience can opt for an adaptive damping suspension or a sport suspension that reduces the ride height by approximately 23 millimetres.
At launch, the A4 will be powered exclusively by a turbocharged 2.0-litre TSI four-cylinder engine that develops 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The engine is connected to a new seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission which can be paired to an optional quattro all-wheel drive system.
Pricing starts at $ 43,200 CAD for the entry-level A4 2.0 TFSI Premium and tops out at $ 50,600 CAD for the A4 2.0 TFSI quattro Prestige.
