Mini has taken the wraps off the new Clubman All4 Scrambler concept.
Drawing inspiration from the BMW R nineT Scrambler motorcycle, the concept features an aggressive appearance as it has been equipped with an increased ride height and five-spoke alloy wheels with off-road tires. The model also has a roof rack, satin silver accents, and a Midnight Frozen Grey paint job that echoes the tank on the motorcycle.
The interior has been given a luxurious makeover as designers installed brown Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery which recalls the seat on the BMW R nineT Scrambler. The model also has an Alcantara headliner, a leather luggage mat, and Scrambler logos on the front seats.
Mini declined to release performance specifications but the pictures suggest the concept is based on the Clubman S All4. This likely means power is provided by a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine that produces 189 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. It enables the standard model to accelerate from 0-96 kilometres per hour (0-60 miles per hour) in 6.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph).
The Clubman All4 Scrambler will be shown later this week at the Valentino Park Motor Show.
